A composite landscape influenced by places I have been to or lived in over the years. The horizons intersect and overlap because that is how life works. It is rarely a simple single line.
This piece is made from canvas appliquéd onto stretch canvas and sewn into using various materials. paint was also applied in many layers. Added texture has been given by the use of molding powder and raised embroidery .
Materials used include watercolour, inks, acrylics, charcoal and stitching.
