Horse play

A friend recently very generously gave us tickets to the races at Cheltenham. No, I didn’t win any massive amounts sadly but we had a lovely day. As a thank you I did a portrait of his much loved dogs. All digital, the picture is then printed onto water colour paper for added texture. He was pleased with it I’m happy to say.

If you like the idea of this then have a look at my Etsy shop for details of how you can get your own pet portrait.

Night out

I haven’t knitted in ages but I still turn up to the knitting club I have been a member of for the last few years. Today I intended to knit, I really did, but instead I did a fairly sketchy sketch. It’s not Hoch Arte but it captures the sociability, cake and colours a night knitting can bring. Enjoy, I did!

Words and pictures

Experimenting with putting words and pictures together…here a self portrait together with words used in my poems. It was interesting to have a go at. Perhaps choose colours to correspond with the words used? Hmmmm…

Another idea

And a variation on said idea….this will be for sale soon 🙂

An idea

Quilts are a slight obsession…this is an idea I’m hatching…

Might as well be hung…

There is an exhibition coming up and I’m auditioning some pieces…these two are darker than normal but I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. Based on views in Brixham these are about looking away into the distance … Any thoughts would be appreciated – I’m new at this remember!
